Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In this work it was decided to investigate the values transmission between parents and children, focusing specifically on its outcomes and launching a challenge to the complexity that is declined at a double level: 1) theoretical, with the choice of an object of investigation that has in the relationality and in the multiplicity of conditions its connotation elements; 2) of method, with the adoption of a research facility that is consistent with the theoretical assumptions. The effort at the operational level lies in translating and emphasizing the relational dimension and taking into account the specificity of each family dyad. The focus will be on families with adolescent children, as it is in adolescence, and in particular today in the long transition to adult life, the crucial moment of passage of the values heritage. Being able to differentiate oneself, that is to maintain both continuity and to find one's own autonomy, represents in fact the crucial evolutionary task in this phase of the life cycle, a task that involves not only the adolescent, but his entire family.
