Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The Edison Foundation Index in 2012 shows an increase in exports of + 3%, thanks above all to the dynamics of exports to non-EU 27 countries (+ 6.4%), while sales in the EU countries are affected by the still not very favorable economic situation, achieving a growth of a small + 0.2%. They hold the clothing-fashion (+ 2.3%) and furniture-home sectors (+ 2.1%); The Alimeno-tare-wines (+ 6%) and the Hi-tech in particular (+ 20.8%) stand out; the Automazione-mechanics segment is down (-2.1% compared to 2011). From a geographical point of view the 23 districts of the Center are those that have achieved the greatest growth, equal to + 7.8% tendency, followed shortly by the 7 districts of the South and Islands, whose exports are in progress of + 7.1%. The 33 districts in the North-West grew by + 2.8%, the 38 districts in the North-East by + 0.7%.
