Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The 2021 yearbook of Italian TV provides a tool for analyzing the television industry in a crucial year of profound transformation, marked both by the effects of the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic and by a series of mutations affecting the progressive growth of Connected TVs, the greater importance of streaming platforms, the new role required of national audiovisual publishers to face unprecedented forms of competition. The Yearbook systematically collects the relevant quantitative and qualitative data that reconstruct the evolution of the offer and consumption of television and audiovisual streaming in the year 2020-2021. The research behind the volume was developed by Ce.R.T.A. (Research Center on Television and Audiovisuals of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart) in collaboration with Auditel, APA (Audiovisual Producers Association), Sensemakers and Talkwalker.
