La Special Force britannica e la “questione” comunista nella Resistenza italiana

[Autom. eng. transl.] The pluralism of those who participated in the Resistance in the Garibaldi Brigade emerges from the SOE documentation. Taking note of these data does not necessarily mean accrediting a paradoxical transposition of the "gray zone" into the formations that are traditionally considered the most politically mature; but rather to reflect on the forms of adherence to this ideologization; that is, it means problematizing precisely that dichotomy between "active minority" and "silent majority", adding other dimensions to the already multifaceted notion of Resistance. Without prejudice to those who, within the non-politicized, moved by opportunism, reticence and other "selfish" motivations, can thus identify a range of people who had the ethical need to "go to the mountains", even without having a clear idea the political purpose for which they did it.
