Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The transition towards sustainability calls for pedagogical reflection to promote a systemic culture that feeds on relationships, in the dynamism of the world. Pedagogy has the task of critically investigating the notion of development, as an indispensable parameter of life, and of seeking new criteria to guide conscious and supportive choices in the economic and socio-environmental sphere. In this perspective, the essential contribution of education is claimed and supported, a transformative driver through which to guide thoughts and actions to protect the Earth with care and responsibility, to build more equitable and supportive societies. Each person, in the daily exercise of living, is asked to learn to be with and for others, building the future of the planet, opening up to regenerative possibilities, creators of shared value.
