Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Artificial stone has increasingly replaced the traditional one in the creation of kitchen and bathroom floors. Cutting and grinding release a large amount of crystalline silica. New cases of silicosis and sometimes real epidemic outbreaks have been reported in various parts of the world and also in Italy.
