Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] This contribution aims to propose the experience of one Call for Ideas launched by the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore, focused on “Living the University inside and outside the University”. The objective of this Call was to collect proposals that could impact both the life of the university community of the University's headquarters on community engagement outward promoting moments of sociality, communication and relationships. As part of the Centenary celebration of the University, between March and June 2021, 25 teams of students had the opportunity to present theirs project ideas, supported by young researchers of the University which, as coaches, they provided to them support. The Hackathon that was generated was inserted into this frame to promote size participation of students in rethinking identity of the University. For research purposes, a study was conducted qualitative on the perception that the participants have had of this experience, revealing the effectiveness of such events in promoting a sense of community, the collaboration and active citizenship in the context university.
