Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution analyzes the lexicon and images that in Seneca evoke not only not so much power, but its autonomy, until reaching the nefas, starting from the opening image of the "De clementia"; to then arrive at an analysis of the self-justifications of the tyrannical action in the "Thyestes":
