Abstract
The paper proposes a reflection on the relationship between school and family, in particular with regard to families who come from foreign countries. The school should seek more complete forms of socio-cultural integration, recognizing primarily the immigrant family as an interlocutor, so that it is possible to make a transition from cultural contact to cultural exchange.
