Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay takes into consideration the situation of early school leaving, trying to highlight how the school can help both to contain and to cause the phenomenon. In the light of the experiences carried out in many territories in recent decades, the coordinates for an intervention strategy are highlighted.
