[Autom. eng. transl.] The phenomenon of medically assisted procreation (MAP) represents the most consistent revolution in relation to filiation and specifically affects the younger generations. The present research project, promoted by the Youth Observatory of the Toniolo Institute, intends to probe the attitudes, opinions and experiences that Italian young people have about the various procreative options, describe their degree of approval about gamete donation, evaluate the influence of value orientation on their opinions, as well as the impact of such opinions on certain identity dimensions. The sample of respondents is composed of 2256 young and young adults, of which 49.2% are females, aged between 20 and 35 years. To achieve these objectives, ad hoc items have been built integrated with some scales used in the psychosocial sphere, namely the Portrait Values Questionnaire and the Identity Threat Scale. A first report of the results is being published on the fifth Youth Report of the Toniolo Institute.
