Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The reflective path taken tries to respond to the urgent need to elaborate critical horizons to question the conditions of possibility of authentically human forms of being in the world. Ways and forms, purposes and reasons for educating to inhabit the Earth and to take care of it configure emblematic issues of today's civil debate. In the current socio-economic context, increasingly interdependent and vulnerable, characterized by precariousness and risks of various kinds, the perspective of sustainability crosses the local and the global, the individual and the community, current and future generations. In the various forms of living, the constitutive relationality of human beings is manifested, between proximity and distance, estrangement and coexistence, care and fear, autonomy and vulnerability, dependence and responsibility. Living is therefore crossed by the experience of otherness; “It's not just about being together, it's about being together.
