Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The examination of the conception of rule / monastic rule up to the XII century allows us to grasp in depth the originality constituted by the rule of the Friars Minor (1223). Francesco d'Assisi, in fact, opposed a firm resistance to Cardinal Ugo d'Ostia and obtained a new rule - an exception in the 13th century - for his Order
