Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The European process of reaction to the economic crisis of Covid-19 is the result of a plurality of interventions deployed since March 2020 which can ideally be divided into interventions for emergency management and medium-long term interventions aimed at calibrating the approach issued by the new Commission in December 2019 with the approval of its political guidelines, including the European Green Deal. The picture we have before us today is the result of a year of profound transformations that are occurring in the individual countries affected by Covid and, inevitably, the European Union and its institutions, in particular, the European Central Bank, the European Commission and the European Council. A year of unfinished changes, which is worth briefly retracing to understand in what context the Next Generation EU program emerged, to which the destinies of our country and of the whole of Europe rely, perhaps improperly.
