La rappresentazione sociale di (dis)obbedienza nei giovani militari italiani

[Autom. eng. transl.] The present study investigates the content and structure of social representation (RS) of (dis) obedience, in order to understand the relationship with authority in a group of students of the Military Armed Forces. For the achievement of a self-report questionnaire, in an online version, was used for this purpose. The analyzes were conducted on a sample of 389 subjects. The results show how the concepts of (dis) obedience are considered as diametrically opposites: obedience appears to have a predominantly positive connotation, connected to terms such as "respect", "loyalty", "trust" and, conversely, disobedience appears to have a mostly negative meaning, connected to terms such as "disrespectful", "negative" and "wrong". These results support the hypothesis that the specific context has a strong influence in determining the representations on the subject in question.
