Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The essay deals with the problems opened up by the different cultural representations of dementia and infirmity in old age, on the basis of the analysis of two recent titles of Italian film production, with the aim of identifying and problematizing the dominant models and practices in the discourse contemporary media on the third age.
