Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] A fatwa issued in Egypt in 2007 establishes that a woman working alone in the office with a male colleague, to respect Islamic law, should breastfeed him five times until she is satisfied. The heated debate that has been unleashed shows the complex nature, in the Arab Muslim world, of the relationship between modernity and tradition, which sought to adapt to each other, to dominate each other, in a process of continuous remodeling that generated a "false modernity".
