Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution intends to present a general picture of the situation of the Roma in Europe and in Italy starting from the programs and the inclusion policies developed in the last decade. A specific focus in terms of perspectives and critical issues regards the adoption - by Italy - of the National Inclusion Strategy of Roma, Sinti and Travelers in implementation of the Communication of the European Commission n. 173/2011. Finally, the main open and emerging questions concerning the socio-economic conditions of the Roma in Italy are presented.
