Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Richard Wagner fully endorses the Schopenhauerian statement: "Music is the true philosophy". On it he constructs a complex and inexhaustible thought which he expresses in his revolutionary musical dramas. Facing the philosophical question of evil, Wagner brings the whole Germanic legacy into play and reaches original and visionary conclusions.
