Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The book is conceived as a tool capable of providing an introduction to both dynamic psychology and psychoanalysis and in particular to Freud. It can be divided into two sections. The first intends to show the specificity of the psychodynamic approach to man; then there will be some hints of psychiatric and psychoanalytical diagnosis and nosography. The section will close the reference to authors belonging to the First Dynamic Psychiatry, preparatory to the development of Freud's thought. The second section is entirely dedicated to Freud: the development of his thought will be followed starting from a historical framework of the personal and social events of the time; particular attention will also be given to his clinical cases, thus showing the technical aspects of psychoanalytic action. In the last part of the section, particular emphasis will be given to some fundamental concepts of Freud's thought, from which some psychoanalytic currents that followed him will start.
