Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The objective of this article is, therefore, to present the peculiarities proposed by the psychology of liberation, emphasizing what are the contributions that it can make to the current psychological science. In the same way, we will try to highlight how the current psychological science can provide new stimuli and food for thought useful to the psychology of liberation itself. Specifically, in the first part the epistemological questions of psychological research will be addressed, indicating which are the epistemological matrices of liberation psychology. In the second part, instead, we will try to better explain the aspects of method, of scientific practice, of the rules shared by researchers in doing science. Finally, in the third part, the focus will be on the ethics of science, an aspect very dear to the psychology of liberation and which constitutes the major contribution that, in my opinion, this approach can give to reflections on science in the psychological field.
