Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] In the Holy Scriptures freedom is not originally referred to the choice of man between good and evil, but has to do with the position of the creature, with the very existence of "something" as a creature. "Freedom", even before intertwining with the "responsibility" to which only that particular creature which is man is called, is therefore a synonym of "creature" before being a human question. Inside the Bible, to say "freedom" means above all to say "creation"; consequently, to try to understand the biblical sense of the first it is necessary to try to understand the biblical meaning of the second.
