[Autom. eng. transl.] This article presents an exploratory study on the presence of the 'Ndrangheta abroad. The study conducted an analysis on several national and international sources and produced a map of the presence of 'Ndrangheta groups in Europe and in the world. The aim of the research was to systematically collect data on the 'Ndrangheta with a homogeneous methodology that guaranteed comparable values. The results suggest the 'Ndrangheta operates in several countries. Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and France are the most recurrent states in Europe. Worldwide, Canada, Australia and Colombia seem to have a more intense presence than the 'Ndrangheta. Ndrangheta groups abroad are involved in both illegal activities (for example drug trafficking and money laundering) and apparently legal activities (restaurants, pizzerias, hotels, food supply stores, food products, acquisition of real estate) ), which could also be used for money laundering.
