Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume collects the results of the first quantitative and qualitative survey on food poverty in Italy, which made use of official statistical information and data provided by the approximately 8000 non-profit organizations belonging to the Banco Alimentare Network which regularly offer help to almost one and a half million people. The qualitative part is based on interviews with a sample of institutions and assisted families, offering a picture of poverty taken directly.
