Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Entering the images that entertain children and preadolescents, measuring themselves against the insignificant massification of television and animation products, is an inescapable educational challenge today. For this reason, the contribution investigates the multimedia universe of a particular visual product for children: animation cinema or "anime", considered by many to be the "seventh art". In this journey through images and metaphors, the author's pedagogical reflection focuses on the animated cinema of the great master Hayao Miyazachi, known throughout the world for the artistic quality of his landscapes and for the strength of his characters, so close to life stories of every child who is about to face the adventure of growing.
