Their aim is to take stock of the state of democracy in Italy sub specie communicationis, in the awareness that the democratic models that political science elaborates are realized not only in the Institutions and in their regulations, but also in the public sphere of languages, rhetoric , narratives and images: a fact, that is, of symbols mediated within processes and social relations between the various actors involved and through specific information technologies and ocmunicaiozne more or less able to enable them.
