[Autom. eng. transl.] Going in search of the roots of Education to Theatricality means going back in time to the early twentieth century and dusting off all the profound changes that have characterized the theater of this century. The theater workshop, in fact, comes from here, from a theatrical action that distances itself from its own world in which it is no longer recognizable. It seeks a renewal that leads to distorting the theater of divisions centered on the actor's emphatic acting and at the same time freeing the theater of slavery in which he was forced from the mid-nineteenth century onwards. An action is sought, therefore. that he is able to restore to the theater that dignity that was taken away from him when he was subjected to the constraints of production and that he reconstructed a close bond with the society from which the man had long since departed. The twentieth century represents all this and it does so through new paths that seek to restore meaning or a world that has become sterile and to bring back to the center what really matters and enriches the theater with meaning.
