Abstract

Every democratic system requires the participation as a right and duty of citizens. What happens when the political institutions and parties are in crisis? Political parties and trade unions are the only possible forms of participation? The study attempts to analyze the link between the crisis of political representation and the crisis of democracy, in a general context of distrust and national social and economic crisis.
