Abstract
Within the yearly Report realised by the Regional Observatory on Migrations and Multi-ethnicity (2011 edition), based on the results of a survey on a sample of 8,000 migrants living in Lombardy, this chapter analyses data relating to migrants’ insertion in the regional labour market. More precisely, it takes into consideration data concerning the occupational condition, the professional profiles and the earning’s capacity, identifying the various variables (such as gender, nationality, migration seniority, level of education, juridical status) influencing them.
