Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The concept of 'hedge' has been elaborated by G. Lakoff and is relevant in particular in the semantic analysis of statements that contain terms that refer to fuzzy sets. The hedges that occur most frequently and with a more significant semantic contribution are 'regular', 'loosely speaking', 'strictly speaking' and 'technically'.
