Abstract
The focus is on Atistotle's Metaphysics XII, 6-10. The paper shows how Aristotle's theology of the Prime Mover has a frame of references to previous and contemporary theological positions, which show light on the discussed problem of the causality of the Prime Mover. Particular importance is recognized to the theological positions inspired to astronomy, that plaid an important role inside the debate between Plato, Aristotle and the Old Academy.
