Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The present work, a contribution to the study of the intervention of cognitive processes of a normative nature on the conduct of evaluation, examines the action of the internal norm in the processes of attribution of responsibility and in the formulation of social prognosis by operators social in the treatment of cases of family abuse. The subjects who participated in the research were given an Attribution Questionnaire (QdA) and a Dossier composed of two different ways of reading an abuse case. The results showed a general tendency to formulate internal attributions on the occasion of the direct evaluation (QoA) of abusive behavior, so that the subjects were all the more in tune with the norm of internality as they were more distant on the plan professional from the situation being assessed. The analysis of the data related to the indirect evaluation (Dossier) of attributive behaviors has instead shown on the part of the members of the professional groups actually involved in the treatment of cases of family abuse, the preference for intermediate evaluation methods, above all if set to comparison with evaluations inspired by an external perspective, preference to be placed in relation to the particular nature of the social work situation under investigation.
