Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] Tourism is an out-of-residence activity aimed at satisfying various types of needs: leisure, discovery, emulation, response to stimuli induced by fashions or by stories of previous visitors. With a few exceptions represented by places which, due to physical or anthropic particularities, do not need promotion for their "absolute value" universally perceived by the visitor, tourist destinations generally gain success from narratives of previous experiences (travel diaries, tourist guides , magazine articles, books, cinematographic works). The narrative thus becomes an added value of the tourist destination, which is successful to the extent that the narrator (be he writer, film director, influencer or simple promotional operator) knows how to arouse the desire to travel, to verify and live the story to prove the same emotions.
