Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The interest in music as a tool to be used in rehabilitation has increased more and more in recent years. In a specific sector the effects that a music-based training can have on reading skills in subjects with dyslexia have been investigated. The present paper intends to illustrate the details of a project born in the Italian context with the aim of devising a musical training for the rehabilitation of dyslexia. The research work led to the creation of a software called Rhythm Reading Training (TLR) aimed at children with reading disorders. Training involves the use of the rhythmic component associated with phonological processing tasks. Here are the results obtained in various researches aimed at assessing the effectiveness of training through its application with subjects with dyslexia. From the data collected it was possible to verify the effectiveness of the training in increasing the skills related to reading.
