Abstract

Since monotheistic religions are like large families related to each other, one should not be surprised when facing the theme of death and the afterlife in Islam to come across common elements. In particular, death, in continuity with Judeo-Christian thought, levels all human beings in the face of the ultimate destiny and can be interpreted as the point of entry into another world, awaiting a final regeneration in one day established by God (Allah).
