Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] In chapter 32 of the Life of Apollonius of Tyana, Philostratus constructs a prophecy about the death of Titus, which is intended to be a polemic against the version of Geta's death that Caracalla had presented in the Senate immediately after his brother's death.
