Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution shows the development, produced in Venice between the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries, of the paratextual apparatuses indispensable for consulting a complex work such as Niccolò Perotti's Cornu copiae. The decisive role of a printer such as Giovanni Tacuino emerges who, in competition with the best known and most popular Aldo Manuzio, undertakes a series of experiments with results of exceptional importance.
