Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Starting from the conflict to promote the regeneration of social ties is the challenge that the community mediator tries to assume, through the development of useful strategies to encourage the meeting between people, so that they learn to place themselves in an equal and trusting way and discover creative solutions to go further. Conflict in fact crosses relationships and can lead both to the death of the link, through behaviors, thoughts and / or destructive feelings between individuals or groups, and to its creative regeneration, bringing its belonging to safety. In this last perspective the mediator plays a strategic role as a third figure who, responding to the requests for freedom and regulation, recovers the threatened link. The Notebook presents a series of mediation interventions in the community, school and health sectors, in which it is possible to trace both the dimensions of the theoretical framework and the methodology of the intervention. Therefore it is proposed as a useful tool both for those in training and for those who are already working as mediators.
