Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] the modern growth theory, also called the "endogenous growth" theory, underlines the contribution of innovation and the quality of human capital to the growth of advanced economies. Helps to understand why the Italian economy has been growing less and less for 15 years? The analysis carried out underlines above all three essential aspects to understand the difficulties with which the new technologies - fundamental for the growth of productivity - are introduced in our country: the insufficient competition - above all in services; and in connection with this (but not only ...) transparency and legality; and finally the necessary coordinated reduction of fiscal pressure and current public expenditure.
