Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Extensive review of printed production and dissemination and circulation of the Bible in Italy between the four and seventeenth centuries. The contribution focuses in particular on the Italian translations of the biblical text (or of individual books and liturgical pericopes) and on the inquisitorial prohibitions of the full sixteenth century.
