Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution frames the role of Cardinal Bishop Pier Damiani within the debate on "libertas ecclesiae". In his extensive writing work the concept of "libertas" appears in various meanings and situations, analyzed here, but only once in reference to the Church of Rome.
