Abstract

The paper aims to analyze the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights concerning religious freedom in the field of dietary prescriptions. The paper highlights in particular the balancing criteria used by the court to protect the right of the faithful to observe their religious dietary requirements, highlighting the individual and collective aspect of that freedom.
