Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution considers the previous hypotheses that attributed to Giuseppe, monk of San Giovanni in Fiore and papal notary, the text of the canonization letter of Domenico di Caleruega (1234). Other documents from the chancellery which denote similar stylistic elements and scenarios are considered. Finally, a trace that is probably decisive for the confirmation of the authorship of the text is presented: a contemporary manuscript, now preserved in Paris, Bibliothèque Mazarine, which reports it, assigning it precisely to Giuseppe.
