[Autom. eng. transl.] The contribution presents an application of the Family Impact Lens approach as part of a project aimed at combating educational poverty of 0-6 year old children in a suburb of the Municipality of Novara. According to this approach, the effects on the well-being of families must be carefully considered in designing, implementing and evaluating policies and practices, applying a multidimensional methodology. The study presents the application of the model during the second year of the project, in which five Family Impact Checklists were developed and used which, in addition to monitoring the modus operandi of the operators involved, also promoted a meta-reflective process by the operators themselves, with respect to the acquisition of a family oriented culture. The data collected suggest that the ability to deal with the diversity present in the beneficiary families of the project and to encourage their effective involvement in the various actions carried out must be improved, also showing significant differences between the various social operators.
