Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] This article presents the characteristics of the interlanguage, with special reference to that of related languages such as Spanish and Italian, its close relationship with the processes of foreign language acquisition and its linguistic and extralinguistic variables is analyzed; Finally, Schmid's model of Naturalness Differential Hypothesis is presented, highlighting the role of L1 as well as that of the principles of morphological naturalness in the configuration of the characteristics of the interlengua of Spanish and Italian.
