Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The purpose of the contribution is to follow in the path of the Ticino journalist-intellectual Enrico Filippini the traces of France and French culture of which he was enthusiastic and lucid connoisseur. Particular attention will be given to the push that led him from Ticino to Milan and then from Milan (where he graduated with Enzo Paci) to the French capital and the decision to continue philosophical research in Paris with openness to specific interests for linguistics entered a phase of great effervescence. After an initial part dedicated to the reconstruction of the Parisian period and to the meetings that marked a decisive turning point in his training and for his professional future (Barthes, Foucault, Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, Ricoeur, Derrida ...), the theme will be addressed through the his writing activities centered on French culture (articles from the cultural page of the "Republic", interviews, translations, reviews, unfinished projects), with the support of the Archive materials (especially correspondence) kept in the Cantonal Library of Locarno.
