Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The correspondence, largely unpublished, between Giovanni Ambrogio Mazenta and Cassiano Dal Pozzo highlights how the federician cultural enterprise, with the creation of the Library and the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, represented a reference model for the artistic-cultural patronage of Cardinal Francesco Barberini.
