Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] Based on the papyri prior to the 2nd century BC ap. J. - C. and on the ancient testimonies relating to the state of the text of Alcede until the period of the Antonines, one can try to characterize the editions of Aristophanes of Byzantium and Aristarchus, which were used as base to successive editions.
