[Autom. eng. transl.] The complexity of global society and the rapid changes in the world of work have had a strong impact on the airport world, as a privileged context, destined by its legal and institutional nature to synthesize international and national directives, organizational and individual needs. Of particular interest is the introduction of the European Regulation 139/2014 which started the renewal process of the air transport sector, placing maximum importance on the care of human development and the skills of its employees, an aspect on which the reliability of a new European airport management system. In this regard, training is called into question, in reference to which pedagogical reflection can offer significant formative and methodological contributions. It is precisely in this sector that training is designed to create competent workers capable of implementing “effective or superior performance”. This perspective requires pedagogy to define training trajectories that pertain to the growth of the person even in professional fields that are not strictly pedagogical. Training understood in this way must be able to build new proficiency in workers and generate learning opportunities.
