[Autom. eng. transl.] The topic of health and safety education appears to be a pedagogical-educational issue that embraces the entire life span of the subject and which must primarily involve the family and school. Education about health and safety (health and safety education) means helping the subject, from an early age, to acquire behavioral methods qualified by responsibility, self-control, awareness, knowledge of himself and of his own limits, so that he can independently evaluate the different situations of risk and danger that will arise in its growth path. The school, as a privileged place for education, must fulfill the task of preparing generative adults, able to live in a safe and ethically sustainable way.
